SAUVY (Seized books) no. 694. Mlle de Joncoux actually composed the ''Lettre de M***'', on that of Duguet to Boileau, dated March 11, 1697; it is in this volume following that of Duguet. M. Haureau, in his Histoire littéraire du Maine (IV, 268), points out that all contemporary testimonies agree in denying the attribution to Abbé Fouillou, and he believes that it is the collective work of Louail, Fouillou, Mlle de Joncoux, and others. Against the order of the Archbishop of Paris, Louis-Antoine de Noailles, condemning Martin de Barcos' Exposition de la foi catholique.
