Theorbo lute guitar with sound body made of eleven maple ribs, carved rosette in the soundboard with ebony and bone purfling around the rim. Carved tailpiece and pegbox in maple. Pegbox topped with a white and green mother-of-pearl mother-of-pearl star. Nine strings. Early 20th century. Damage and missing parts. Total length: 116 cm Length of sound body: 51.5 cm Provenance :- Collection of Monsieur Philippe DUPUY (1932-2021) ;- By descent to the current owner.
