In-8, (8) ff. with title front, 382 pp. ; (1) f., 270 pp., (20) ff. 16 figs. engraved with burin in the text, comments with sep. title, paper a little yellowed, russet, brown calf of the epoch, double gilt thread on the boards, spine with ornamented nerves.
LEVER 77. Translation by Jean de Montlyard first published in 1602. The full-page figures are those of the 1623 edition, six of which are engraved by Crispin de Passe and ten by Isaac Briot.
