BRAYER] - DU COLOMBIER, Pierre - Yves Brayer presented by Pierre Du Colombier. Paris, Jacques Melot, 1948. In-4, 16 pp. in sheets, filled cover, spine with tears. One of the 100 copies of the first edition, including, in addition to the 20 plates in black or in color, three original lithographs in color signed in the margin by Yves Brayer, whereas the justification announces only one. The first, depicting a couple, is numbered (one of 100) and printed a second time as an "épreuve d'artiste", with seven plates of color decompositions attached. The second, depicting three horses, is printed in color and bistre, designated "épreuves d'artiste. The third, depicting gypsies, is also designated an "artist's proof".
