In-12, 364 pp. in contemporary bas. marbled boards, triple gilt thread on covers, central coat of arms, spine ribbed and decorated, upper headband worn. OHR pl. 1590. Coat of arms of the Collège d'Alençon: two adjacent shields, in one, the arms of the Bourbon-Alençon family (three fleurs-de-lis, with a border charged with eight besans); in the other, the eagle of the city of Alençon. In 1774, Louis Stanislas Xavier de France (future King Louis XVIII) took the title of Duke of Alençon. Ex-praemio on title page dated August 1778.
