The union of Zephyr and Flora circa 1780 Folded fan, the leaf in skin, mounted in English style, and painted with Zephyr with butterfly wings crowning the goddess Flora with flowers, surrounded by lovers, sealing their union. Lovers painted in sepia color adorn the side medallions. Dull reverse. White mother-of-pearl mounting, pierced, engraved and silvered, decorated with an altar of Love. H.t. 28.2 cm- H.f. 13.2 cm (stains, restorations and two different beaters)
