(cotton warp and weft, wool pile), Southeast Persia, circa 1940-1970.
The rug features a central navy-blue octagon set between two octagons,
extended by two pendants, on a red background decorated with small geometric motifs.
The entire composition is embellished with four spandrels. An ivory border
geometric flower garland is framed by two
two counter-borders.
