PAGNOL Marcel [Aubagne, 1895 - Paris, 1974], French writer a - Lot 136
PAGNOL Marcel [Aubagne, 1895 - Paris, 1974], French writer and film director. Autograph letter signed. Thursday evening, February 22, 1962; 2 folio pages. Marcel Pagnol expresses his disappointment following an election. "I am stunned, and your disappointment is mine. I immediately understood that the election would be blank, but the result of the first round dismayed me. The four votes in the second round would undoubtedly have been eight if Achard, Tryat, Vandoyer and Gaxotte had been present."
