COCTEAU Jean [Maisons-Laffitte, 1889 - Milly-la-Forêt, 1963] - Lot 120
COCTEAU Jean [Maisons-Laffitte, 1889 - Milly-la-Forêt, 1963], French poet and writer. Autograph letter signed. November 3, 1956; 1 page in-8°. About the making of one of his films: "I've been too worried about 16 millimeters not to run the risks myself. Besides, I hope that amateurs are lucky enough to be free, and that they don't have to worry about professional rules. So I made an amateur film (in Kodachrome). As far as the actors are concerned, you know that I'm looking for a moral climate and nobility. I can only work as a family.
