Hereké silk carpet with metallic thread embellishment (warp, weft and silk velvet), Western Turkey, circa 1930-1950. 156 x 109 cm Signed. This carpet is enhanced by numerous trees with small and large birds nesting on an ivory background. An ivory border with polychrome flower garlands is framed by two counterborders. Good condition.
