Chinese silk carpet (warp, weft and silk velvet), circa 1950-1980 125 x 80 cm. This rug features a large flowering vase framed by two animals on an ivory background enhanced by numerous flowering trees with birds nesting in them. A wide ivory border with flower garlands is framed by two red counter-borders.
