CHINA, Compagnie des Indes, KANGXI period (1662 - 1722) Large dish in Famille Rose polychrome enameled porcelain decorated with a young woman and her maid offering her a lotus flower in a palace near a lotus pond, the rim decorated with friezes of fruits and flowers: peonies, cucurbits and chrysanthemums, the fall decorated with a frieze of stylized petals. On the reverse, four longevity mushrooms. (Restorations). D.: 46 cm. Provenance : Collection of Ambassador LAMBERT. By descent to the present owners.
