FOUN-SEN (Cécile Nguyen-Ngoc-Tue, known as) [Giap Bat, 1915 - Neuilly-sur-Seine, 1989], French actress originally from Indochina, she was the Chinese in French productions of the 1930s.
Autograph letter signed "Foun Sen". Paris, December 5, 1937; 1 1/2 pages in-4°, in French.
"In October I shot a film with Lucien Baroux: "M. Breloque a disparu". With his customary indulgence, he declared himself very satisfied with my performance and kindly expressed the wish that I also appear in his next yarn "À la page". This film includes circus scenes, and every self-respecting circus carries with it Japanese or Chinese jugglers or acrobats", etc.
