─ Georges d'ESPARBÈS. Autograph letter signed to publisher Armand Magnier. Undated; 2 pages in-16°. About a publishing project with Edmond Rostand: "I have taken care of your business. I've talked about Les Romanesques and Rostand about himself," adds La Samaritaine. All you have to do is choose between these 2 masterpieces".
─ René Armand François Prudhomme, known as SULLY PRUDHOMME. Autograph letter signed to his beloved Victor. Paris, January 1, 1880; 1 page in-8°. He presents him and Madame Victor with his affectionate tributes and best wishes, "but I have been overwhelmed by the number of visits I have had to make, and I have not been able to complete my itinerary. I want her to have no doubt of my faithful remembrance. As for you, I'll be with you, I'll shake your hand I think next Thursday."
─ André THEURIET. Autograph letter signed, Lausanne, November 3, 1886; 1 ½ page in-12°. He regrets not being able to honor his correspondent's invitation, leaving again for Neuchâtel, but hopes to make his acquaintance on his next visit to Lausanne, specifying that he can take on a possible commission for their mutual friend, René de Récy.
