"Monsieur d'Orléans, monsieur, has just sent me from [...] where he is, a memoir that he asks me to recommend to you. He would have visited you, he had been in Paris, but he urges me to ask you to kindly grant him the release he is asking for as soon as possible, and he gives me the reason that many of his 100f. and 200f. sales boarders, who have absolutely nothing else to live on, are waiting for the release he is asking for. I am pleased to have the honor of sending you his memoirs, and I hope that if possible, you will expedite this expedition.
