MANUFACTURE NATIONALE DE SEVRES Porcelain bowl with conical body on curved tubular heel and conical base. Decorated in relief with eight fish heads, leaves and water lily flowers. Light green, blue, ochre and pink enamel on a cream background. Signed with the triangular stamp of 1907 (refused) and marked PN (porcelaine nouvelle). Height 25.5 cm - Diameter 18 cm History: according to the archivist of the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres, no object was found in the sales store entries in 1907 and 1908 that could correspond to this bowl. It does not resemble any shape of which a trace has been preserved. The technical difficulties - since this copy was refused - and the absence of any documentary reference therefore tend to demonstrate that this copy was not produced.
