ROUSSEL Albert [Tourcoing, 1869 - Royan, 1937], French composer
composer.
Autograph letter signed, addressed to a friend. January 9, 1921;
2 folio pages.

would say 'yes' to you right away if we were still before the war
war and if events had not so profoundly disrupted
your entire musical organization. It is more and more difficult

choral works in concert, due to the increase in union
caused by the fall in living standards and the criminal indifference

to perform works of this kind (always at a loss, by the way).
but I've been waiting for two years for the rehearsal of a work
rehearsals of a work commissioned from me by M. Rouché in
1913, the subject of which is a Hindu legend.
