ORMESSON Jean d' [Paris, 1925 - Neuilly-sur-Seine, 2017], French writer, journalist and philosopher.
Autograph letter signed. Paris, Monday; 3 folio pages. Jean d'Ormesson replies to his correspondent, giving him advice
advice for a forthcoming book.

...". "If you'll allow me an opinion! I would suggest that you either shorten the text and make it a more compact, more incisive short story; or, on the contrary, opt more resolutely for autobiographical narrative, and present more "typical" characters who express a milieu, an era, a life".
