Wehner (1583-1612), born in Saxony-Thuringia, handled the legal affairs of princes and lords: the Duke of Brunswick, the Margrave of Ansbach, the Counts of Erbach, Limburg, Leiningen and others. Latest edition. Combines contributions by Johann Schilter, Peter Bitsch and Johann Rüdinger under a separate title: Singularium observationum juris cameralis, Saxonici, civilis et feudalis centuriae, dated 1734. Wehner's work must be considered a legal encyclopedia, which served as a model for similar works such as Besold's well-known thesaurus. It reproduces the most common legal words and formulas in German. Some of the topics covered are discussed in greater detail, such as financial matters, or are the subject of full-fledged treatises.
