In-12, engraved title, (4) ff. 727 pp. 3 h. t. figs engraved in intaglio, red morocco, triple gilt thread on covers, coat of arms in center, spine ribbed with repeated monogram, gilt tr. slightly worn binding.
With the coat of arms of Charlotte-Elisabeth de Bavière, Princess Palatine (1652-1722), second wife of Philippe d'Orléans, brother of Louis XIV, and mother of the Regent. She left lively and witty memoirs on the private life of Louis XIV and his entourage. OHR pl. 2564, iron no. 5.
