BOURBON-CONDÉ Henriette-Louise-Marie-Françoise-Gabrielle known as "Mademoiselle de Vermandois" [, 1703 - , 1772], Third daughter of Louis III de Bourbon prince of Condé and Mademoiselle de Nantes (legitimated daughter of Louis XIV); having refused to marry Louis XV, she entered religion and became abbess of Beaumont-lès-Tours. Autograph letter signed "L. H. De Bourbon". [July 24, 1729]; 3 pages in-4°. "I am extremely worried Sir about the health of Made Herault that I was told [....] I had asked you, Sir, to give me some news about her and your silence makes me fear that what we and your silence makes me fear that what I have been told is true, so I beg you Sir not to leave me any longer in the longer in the anxiety in which I am.
