DURLING 1442. RENOUARD 297. The only work published during the author's lifetime (1523-1562), first published in Venice in 1561. Born in Modena, he followed the courses of Vesalius in Padua before succeeding him. A collection of observations and notes complementary to De Humanis corporis fabrica (1543) in which are found numerous discoveries concerning ossification, dentition, muscles, uterine tubes, the auditory apparatus, the trochlear nerve of the eye, etc.
