J. & L. LOBMEYR - AUSTRIA Perfume bottle, model created circa 1878, with ovoid shouldered body and conical tubular neck on pedestal and stopper. Proofs in pressed molded white glass with mythological decoration of a mermaid and sea horses enameled in blue and white and enhanced with gilding (tiny chips on the reverse and inside of the stopper). Monogrammed on the reverse and numbered 18. H. 18 cm History: a bottle in the collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (inv. D 186) is similar in shape to our model.
