Fiqh (jurisprudence) manuscript Black and red ink on paper Middle East, late 18th century 18 x 13 x 4 cm Acephalous fiqh (jurisprudence) manuscript, probably Hanafi, written in Arabic in black and red ink on seven seven lines per page. A manual of good practices and recommendations for the fulfillment of religious obligations It includes part of the Kitab al-Tahara (Book of Purification) and part of the Book of Alms. A dedication in at the beginning of the manuscript indicates that it was a gift (hadiya) made to a certain Fouad Ibrahim Kamil, on a Tuesday in the month of month of Safar 1209 AH / 1794 AD. The name Mohamed Amin may indicate the copyist. (Wear)
