Lots may be collected free of charge from the auction room until 5:30 pm on the day of the sale.

After this time, lots not picked up by the Auctioneer will be stored at DROUOT BAGNOLET MAGASINAGE, at the following rates* :

1. Processing fee/lot: depending on the nature of the lot: €5/€10/€15/€20/€25
2. Storage and insurance costs/lot/day: depending on the nature of the lot: €1/€10/€15/€20/€25

Please note: lots will only be handed over on presentation of the receipted sales slip and after payment of any handling and storage charges.

Notwithstanding the law of December 31, 1903, the successful bidder acknowledges and accepts that items which have not been withdrawn by him within three months will be considered as abandoned and may be sold after filing a petition with the court, and that Drouot will not have to wait a year to proceed with their auction sale in accordance with the law of December 31, 1903.

Consequently, it is recalled that items that have not been withdrawn within the three-month period may be reoffered for sale in order to cover storage costs.

By contractual extension of the law of December 31, 1903, which only allows abandoned items to be sold, but does not entitle the depositary to apply to the courts for the right to destroy them, the successful bidder expressly acknowledges that items of low market value (i.e. items with an acquisition value by the successful bidder of less than 50 euros) which have not been removed by him within a period of six months will be deemed to have been definitively abandoned by the successful bidder. Ownership of these goods will then revert to TSE, which may destroy them after notification by registered letter which has remained unanswered for one month, without having to apply for a court order as referred to in article 2 of the law of December 31, 1903 concerning the sale of abandoned goods. In any event, in the event of destruction, the successful bidder will not be entitled to claim any prejudice whatsoever in excess of the purchase price paid by the successful bidder for the property destroyed.
