Jeune fille rêuse, France, circa 1890 Folded fan, the double satin leaf painted with a dreamy young damsel, holding a mirror. The reverse is mute. Goldfish mother-of-pearl mount, cut, pierced and engraved with flowers, and bearing the initials "VB" in a central burgundy cartel. H.t. 28 cm (restoration to plume, missing parts)
