La Jolie mariée, France, circa 1870 Folded fan, the silk leaf delicately painted with fiddlers preceding a procession of a bride and her entourage. Beautifully engraved and gilded burgau mother-of-pearl mount with flowers and birds. An identical setting makes up a fan for the Maison Félix Alexandre. See H.
