Corydon (?), France, circa 1820 Folded fan, the pink silk leaf, embroidered with silver sequins, enriched with a central engraving perhaps evoking the story of the shepherd Corydon. The reverse is mute. Bone mount, pierced and engraved with foliage and flowers. Height 24 cm (wear, restorations)
