Telescopic, circa 1780 Folded fan, with a so-called pocket or telescopic system, the double silk sheet painted with loves in side cartels, and portraits, of a young man and a young woman, hanging from a palm tree. In the center, a gallant scene at the water's edge. Reverse: pink flowers painted in the center. Ivory frame with pocket or telescopic system. When the fan is closed, the blades slide inside the leaf to reduce the size of the fan and make it easier to carry. The throat is decorated with a vase and flowers, engraved and gilded.
