Supper in the garden, Europe, circa 1900 and China, circa 1750 Folded fan, the double sheet in painted skin, in the 18th century taste, of two couples dining in a garden. A man teases a servant while a cook brings a pâté. Reverse: waterside landscape with a windmill. White mother-of-pearl frame, pierced, engraved and gilded with four cartels depicting a couple. The head is carved as a shell. China, circa 1750 H.t. 29 cm - H.f. 13.3 cm (restorations)
