Marcel ROUX (1909 - 1993) Three "Phi" chairs with red lacquered thermoformed resin backs. Two with blackened tubular legs and small rubber glides, and one with a star-shaped metal base. One hundred copies produced. Two black-and-white archive photographs are included, one showing the tubular base model, the other showing several examples of the cruciform base model in an in situ view of the interior of Marcel Roux's Villa du Tesson in Nice in 1963. Height 80.5 cm - Length 46 cm - Depth 38 cm Provenance : Marcel Roux's personal furniture, which has remained in the family ever since.
