The early days of the Manufacture de Vincennes, in the 1740s, were a period of trial and error in technical and decorative research. As a result, the decorations were transiently but directly inspired by those produced in Meissen.
This is notably the case for this cup, which comes from the very first years of production at the Manufacture de Vincennes.
