Pair of flat-backed chairs in molded, carved and cream relacquered beech with carved decoration of heart stripes and gadroons; the uprights of the backs with detached columns, seeds and pomegranates; the violin belts with heart stripes and pearls; projecting dice with rosettes; tapered legs with rings and curved flutes. Stamped by Jean-Baptiste Sené. Louis XVI period. Jean-Baptiste SENE, carpenter received master on May 10, 1769. Fabric upholstery with alternating bands of semis and garlands of flowers on a cream background.
