Peeping Tom" chair in molded, carved and gray relacquered walnut; the beveled back has an armrest with detached columns and a lyre; rosette dice; fluted tapered legs.

Upholstery with alternating bands of flower garlands.
Nicolas Simon COURTOIS, carpenter received master on November 19, 1766.

There are two stamps on one piece of furniture for two main reasons: firstly, an order placed with one carpenter was subcontracted to another, and secondly, a restoration was carried out on the seat.
