Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912) Tooth and ivory set comprising two okimono, one depicting a standing fisherman fighting with a snake and a crab, the other depicting a sambaso dancer about to beat a drum at his feet, an okimono in the netsuke style depicting the seven sages in the bamboo forest and an ivory element depicting a karako. Accidents, restorations, missing parts, natural cracks. H. from 3,8 to 14,6 cm. Weight : 311 g.
