Salvador DALÍ (after) & Maurice DUCHIN (editor) The Catalan suite Suite of six ceramic tiles with square polychrome enamelled body. Decorations of sun, starfish, arrows, birds, guitars and stylized mouth (tiny chips in the corners). Signed in the pattern on each piece and marked "Made in Spain" on the reverse. 20 x 20 cm History: In 1954, Dalí created six ceramics celebrating his attachment to the Catalan country through designs evoking essential themes: 'The Vegetable Sun' for life, 'The Starfish' for death, 'The Darts' for war, 'The Doves' for peace, 'The Guitars' for music and 'The Kisses of Fire' for love.
