CHINA, Cambodia, late 19th century - early 20th century. Seven parts of a palanquin in carved and gilded wood decorated with clouds and flowers. They are decorated with a small sun mirror in their center. The back is red lacquered. A mirror is missing from one of the reliefs. Accidents and restorations. 34 x 72 cm We join two amounts with decoration of chimeras in red lacquered wood and gilded. Height : 45 cm Provenance : Collection of Mr. X... high official in Indochina in the 1930s. By descent to the present owners.
