Set of 2 signed autograph business cards, addressed to Mr. Maucuer - January 1, 1888: "Thank you a thousand times, dear Mr. Maucuer for your good letter. We wish you, Mrs. Maucuer and your son all the best. We're fine here, if I'm not mistaken. But at my age, one should only think of others. L. Pastor" - "Thank you, thank you my dear Maucuer. I'm very sensitive to your good memory. L.P." We enclose two autograph cards signed by Doctor Roux: - to Mrs Maucuer. January 2, 1899: "You are a thousand times kind to send me the collection of Aiguebelle's chromos accompanied by a box of excellent chocolate. I was amused by the way Pasteur's discoveries are staged. I'm very grateful to you for thinking of me"... - to Mr. Maucuer. March 26, 1906: "I have read with interest your experiments on the disinfection of objects by dry methanol vapours, at high temperatures and on penetration. The results are as complete as you could wish for, and the speed with which you get them is remarkable. In the last two years, a large number of devices have been proposed to make formic aldehyde vapours act hot on the objects to be disinfected. Small ovens have been proposed for use by hairdressers, particularly for the rapid disinfection of combs and brushes in formaldehyde vapours. ...what strikes me is the extraordinary speed of the action."
