LE CORBUSIER FOUNDATION A guided tour for 10 people of the Maison La Roche. Icon of modern heritage, the first expression of purism in architecture, it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2016. UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2016. Designed and built between 1923 and 1925 by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, the Maison La Roche was, from the end of the 1920s, abundantly photographed and 1920s, it was widely photographed and admired. It contributes, as all the purist villas, to impose Le Corbusier as the master of modernity in architecture. According to the wishes of his patron, Raoul La Roche, banker and collector of modern art, the house is divided into two parts: the gallery, which presented his collection of paintings, and his private apartments.
