FONDATION LE CORBUSIER A guided tour for... - Lot 26 - Oger - Blanchet
FONDATION LE CORBUSIER A guided tour for 10 people of Le Corbusier's studio apartment. Located at the top of the Immeuble Molitor, the first collective housing building with a glass façade, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2016. World Heritage since 2016. The apartment-studio occupies the top two floors of a totally innovative building, designed between 1931 and 1934 by Le Corbusier and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret on the border between Paris and Boulogne. The duplex of 240m2 hosts the home and Le Corbusier's painting studio. Bathed in light and open to nature, we find the elements of his architectural language: the free plan, the large lengthwise glazed panels, the roof terrace, the polychromy, and the huge pivoting doors that partition as much as they fluidify the space.
