EDITIONS DIANE DE SELLIERS Petrarch's Triumphs... - Lot 25 - Oger - Blanchet
EDITIONS DIANE DE SELLIERS Petrarch's Triumphs illustrated by the stained glass of the Aube in the 16th century The Tales of Perrault illustrated by the art brut (2 volumes) Petrarch's Triumphs illustrated by the stained glass of Aube in the 16th century and Perrault's Tales illustrated by Outsider Art offer a path of inner reflection. Considered as the first humanist, creator of the "dolce stil nuovo", Petrarch offers to literature the most beautiful verses of love, and to readers a pilgrimage of human life. The poem thus has an initiatory dimension: spurned by the one he loves, the poet gradually transforms his carnal love into spiritual love. The stained glass window of Ervy-le-Châtel which illustrates the 6 Triumphs - Love, Chastity, Death, Renown, Time and Eternity - is accompanied by other stained glass windows and details of the 16th century stained glass windows of the Aube region, and illuminate beautifully the verses of Petrarch. The important photographic campaign that has been carried out, with state of the art technology, allows our book to reveal hidden works that are inaccessible to the human eye. Read the Tales of Charles Perrault, one of the great authors of the seventeenth century, and the one who gave the tales their letters of nobility, in their in their integral version, less known, in the adult age, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful adventures which be: in an imaginary which is familiar to us, the naivety mixes with the complexity, the dreams with the fights, the dramas to hopes. Beyond the tragic and the marvelous, the tales give us, still today, beautiful lessons of life. Born in the spirit of singular personalities, living locked up in themselves or interned in prisons or psychiatric hospitals, the works of psychiatric hospitals, the works of the art brut are a cry. The artists of the art brut are animated by a vital need to create, to represent their world, so much interior that imagined, free of any convention and artistic education. A spontaneous, sudden and breathtaking art, which expresses perfectly, often by amplifying it, the enchantment and the terror of the tales, which are addressed as much to the adults as to the children.
