Aubusson door-sized tapestry in wool and silk. Scene of the return from fishing, in the taste of the painter Jean-Baptiste Huet. In the foreground, in a wooded landscape, a couple consisting of a shepherdess tending her sheep and a fisherman, in the background a bridge spanning a river and in the distance we can see buildings and the relief. Tapestry surrounded by a border decorated with garlands of flowers. 3rd quarter of the 18th century. Some wear and restoration, the upper border also original is sewn. H. 253 cm by 186 cm This scene is almost identical to the right part of a large tapestry also by Aubusson entitled Le moulin de Charenton, a tree has been added on the left.
