Round box in red lacquer carved on the lid of five camellia flowers and buds in their foliage on a yellow background, the side decorated with four flowers: tiare, chrysanthemums, peonies and camellias in their foliage. On the reverse, the six-character Yongle needle mark in kaishu. The inside of the lid decorated with the Qianlong poem reported later: "the flowers receive dewdrops; the branches dance in the wind; the camellias are beautiful like a natural painting; the red colour of the petals is reflected in my palace, like candle flames".
